Although this coast line has been beat up by a couple of the last few hurricanes, it still remains a great place to relax on vacation. 

Mckinley peak (10,450/3185m), colorado

South of Pikes Peak there are numerous smaller peaks with great trails. Most people will summit these peaks in a day but they also make for great over-night trips for families with kids and pets.
